Telemarketing is the most popular home based job. India has second largest population of the world and it becoming business hub in this scenario telemarketing is essential. There are several medium of adverting/marketing like TV, Internet, News papers etc. Telemarketing is new concept of marketing. Telemarketers have to introduce quality, importance and requirement of their company’s product in customer life.
Timing and work place
Generally for a full time telemarketing job required working hours between 35 to 40 in a week and as a part time marketing job you have to work between 25 to 30 hours every week. Telemarketers have to contact number of calls during a fixed time.
It is a direct order by the Direct Marketing Authority that there should not be any telemarketing between 9 pm to 8 am.
Required Skill
A telemarketer should be following skills:
Strong stamina.
The ability to understand all types accents.
 High confidence level when talking to unfamiliar person.
The ability to talk strangers with soft and cheerful voice.
Training
 Usually in all organizations, The supervisor or manager gives starting training to telemarketers about telephonic skills and their products so that they easily could talk with strangers and very well introduce quality of products and services.
